TWYLA RIST
Twyla Rist was born in northeast Missouri, and is now a proud and happy resident of Olathe, Kansas with her husband Wally. She has one son and four daughters, as well as six grandchildren who continue to enrich her life. She knows how to manage her time efficiently, has a well-honed entrepreneurial instinct, and- most importantly- knows how to get her clients what they need and want as they list or search for their home. With 36 years of real-estate experience, Twyla uses her knowledge of the economy, market, and the area to help people find their dream homes. One of her favorite parts of the job is the focus demanded by a good challenge, and she looks forward to working with you!
MARNIE ROBINETT
Marnie is a native Kansas Citian having grown up in Prairie Village. She graduated from St. Teresa' s Academy and then KU with a degree in Social Work, which she practiced until starting her real estate (which is now in her tenth year). Both of these careers have a similarity because you are helping individuals make important decisions in their lives and even realize their dreams. Marnie has been married for over 30 years and has two daughters, a son-in-law, and now two grandchildren. The saying "if I'd known that having grandchildren was so much fun, I'd have had them first" is SO true. In her free time Marnie is involved with volunteer work, tennis, bridge, and life at the Lake!
SAMANTHA RIST
Samantha Rist grew up in Overland Park, Kansas and graduated from Olathe Northwest High School in 2004. She will graduate from the University of Kansas in December of 2008, with a B.S. in Secondary English Education, and volunteers for both Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Douglas County, and America Reads, a literacy organization operated through KU. She has been a member of The Rist Group since 2006, and loves that real estate not only allows her the privilege of working with so many amazing people and institutions, but that it enables her to help them reach their goal of turning a house into a home.
BRIAN DRISCOLL
Brian Driscoll grew up in Overland Park, attended Shawnee Mission School, and graduated from Shawnee Mission South in 2000. He Attended the University of Central Missouri where he played baseball for two years. He transferred to Kansas State University and received a B.A. in Hotel and Restaurant Management in 2005. After College he was employed at the Broadmoor Hotel for 2 years. Brian holds a brokers license in Colorado and a salesperson license in Kansas.
MARCIA MERRITT
Marcia Merritt joined The Rist Group in September 2008 and is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with an emphasis in economics and business. She brings 10 years of diversified experience in the financial industry. Her employment background includes tenures with F.D.I.C. and Resolution Trust Corporation. Both opportunities involved processing the resolution of failed banking institutions. She has lived in southern Johnson County for 18 years and has three children. She is an active volunteer and enjoys traveling, gardening and attending various sports events.
BETSY MINTER
Betsy is the newest member of our group. Betsy joins The Rist Group with 15 years of real estate experience in the Kansas City area. She graduated with a degree in consumer economics and marketing from Oklahoma State University. She has been a resident of Johnson County for 21 years and is married with 3 sons. Betsy does lots of volunteer work with Cub Scouts and parent organizations for the schools and her church. In her free time she enjoys reading and shopping.
